Lori is a paralegal by day, writer by night (under the pen name Elle Robb). She lives in central Missouri with her husband and daughter. Two spoiled Miniature Schnauzers allow Lori and her family to live in their house, and the outside is patrolled by BK (short for Barn Kitty) and Patches (a sweet tom cat stray that missed his calling as a lap cat). The pasture is decorated with Miniature Horses.
Lori is a Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing Month, is a member of the Callaway County Writers Group and the offshoot Critique Group. Her involvement has led to features in print, like this article in The Missourian, and television. She regularly attends the Ozark Creative Writers Conference, where she has won several awards for fiction and poetry. She is also a member of Book In A Week (BIW), which she tries to participate in every month.
Her day job involves writing, too. She is the former President of the Mid-Missouri Paralegal Association and is the editor of The Gavel, their quarterly publication.
She formerly designed for the (Paper) Trail Challenge Blog, and is available to teach scrapbooking.
