The following are sites I visit on a regular basis, which you may find helpful also:
Writing Related:
For the Love of the Word - a book review blog that I can rely on to point me in the right direction
www.book-in-a-week.com - my online writing group
National Novel Writing Month - the November challenge that kicks me in the pants every year!
Inkspotter Publishing - Betty Dobson has done a wonderful job with her site, and has won the recognition of Preditors & Editors.
Jerry Engler's site - a Kansas author with a flair for humorous stories from the heartland.
Kaitlyn Rice's site - another Kansas author who writes romance stories that I absolutely love to curl up with. Her latest, the Runaway Bridesmaid, I highly recommend.
Cindy Davis's site - an author who writes children's books, as well as adult suspense with a romantic twist. The first book I bought from her was Final Masquerade, which was a fun ride.
Lea Wait's site - if you enjoy mysteries and good writing, I recommend Lea's Antique Prints series. Maggie is one of my favorite literary characters, and I look forward to the next book with anticipation!
Carolyn Ann Aish - a fellow BIW'er who is an inspiration to me. Visit her site and you'll see why!
The Organized Writer - Julie Hood has done a tremendous job of helping those of us who are not organized. Personally, I am a procrastinator and a piler. Julie offers solid tools and advice to help tame the paper beast and make you more effective and productive.
Cate Dodson's B&B - Cate is a writer who owns a beautiful bed & breakfast in Fulton, Missouri. Stop by her site for a visit. And look for her books!
